Casa Estela 1999

This year I contracted a local trades people to build the kitchen counters. They started with a cement base, followed by building the walls out of brick. A wooden form was fabricated to hold the cement top which was to be poured. Re-bar was placed as seen in the counter top photo, and then the cement was added. I then purchased the wood for the two shelves, and cut the wood to fit in the slots. I then put the kitchen sink in hole that was left. My brother and I installed the drain, and trap. I purchased a hanging bed which another person had contracted but had not returned to pick up. My brother and I installed the hanging bed from the roof structure. The bathroom floor was in need of a minor repair, and was done. I bought and replaced the toilet seat which was falling apart. The last thing was to hang a makeshift door (curtain) for the bathroom.
