Casa Estela 2007

This year I hired a local contractor named Pablo to bring the sand for the back porch area, or view side of the house. It now has the nickname "La Playita de la Loma", or in English, "The "little beach on the hill". The water tank developed a major leak, and required replacement. I arranged to have a new tank brought to the Boca de Tomatlan, and my friend Rod, my brother Doug, and I went into Boca get it. Rod, and I carried it up the hill with the help of a wheelbarrow, and Doug, and I installed it where the old tank had been. Valentin told me that the roof was in need of a new crown, as it leaked during the rainy season. I hired Pablo again, and one morning a crew arrived, took off the old crown, and installed the new one.
